This is it guys I’m officially announcing the end of KenPai fansubs.
This decision came about due to all staff members not really caring about the shows we were subbing, Gosick just got bloody boring and we dont want to sub fairy tail for the small few that actually downloaded our releases.
I myself had a good time doing this especially delving deeper into the fansub culture but I’ve become busy and just dont have the free time to dedicate to this anymore.
All links will stay up until they die then you’ll need to grab the torrents, so goodbye guys it was fun.

I can’t believe that you decided to quit, rather than to giving up. Why can’t you just explore to find new staff who’s willing to doing subbing the shows? That can be done easily.
I care deeply of this fansub more than you know. Come on, just don’t giving up, just yet. You can go and find new staff. We have sooo many staff out there subbing the shows as we speak.
If this is it, then I have nothing to say, but good luck. You’re going to need it. Please do a positive thoughts. Thinking of how fans are going to feeling this? They’re going like, “This can’t be end of Kenpai!”

Its not really staff its motivation as well, the shows are way over subbed and the staff feel there is litte point in spending our time subbing them. Fansubbing is done mainly for fun therefore a total loss of motivation for subbing something means ya just cant bring yourself to do it.
So, in other words, you just give up?
This really makes me sad, when I saw “The End” my heart dropped…
I definitely miss your subs, they’re some of the best around.

Well, I appreciate your work up to this point. Especially on Gosick, where you put out appreciatively better work than anyone else. You may be right about everything being over subbed, but you struck me as in the quality minority of that pile. You will be missed.
That is sad to hear… I looked forward to your releases every week and always enjoyed them. Your efforts were much appreciated by myself at the least and I do hope that if you all dont decided to give these shows another chance that you would consider doing some in the future.
aww man you can’t be serious =[ You guys were doing such a great job. I bet if you guys stayed longer you would be more known and more people would started downloading your subs instead of others. I liked the quality you guys presented and the way subbing was done. Is there some way we can make you guys still continue subbing?
o wow, didn’t see that coming. Guess I’ll say thanks to everyone then. I liked to work on One Piece and Gosick especially.. oww, I actually still like to at least finish Gosick but I can see it can’t be helped if some are just busy. Well, so far I’ll say thanks to all the staff doing the best we could.
And I really enjoyed the speed / quality, hard work and all the appreciation from everyone.

well… I think this is drastic…I’m pretty sure you could just put this site on hold rather then just telling ppl its permanly shut down like this

You should work on one piece, its bloody hard to find a decent subbed 720p and other groups are slow, not sure if you’ll be any faster but..
I think people are glad if they’ll get OP 720p version at a faster speed than most fansubs, anyway, sad to see you go, you’ll be miss ^^!
Gosick was so boring, I can say it was not good choice in the first place, I think there are so many spring animes without a good fansub please pick some, and At least continue the supernatural don’t worry too much about the raw quality
That’s a shame, but thanks for all your hard work up until now. Was always waiting for kenpai to watch some gosick, though like you said, it did get quite boring.
